Match 3 Football (com.footballcrush.app), also released under the name Football Crush. Covers the iOS, Android and web versions.
Last updated: 30 August 2026

Match 3 Football has no sign-up — you never give it your name, email address, or a password. It does collect a small amount of information automatically to make the game work and to fix bugs, and it stores the club name you choose when you start a career. There is no advertising in the game, and nothing that tracks you across other apps or websites.

What the game collects

An anonymous player ID (Firebase Authentication): created automatically the first time you play. It has no name, email or password attached, but it is a fixed identifier for your install — it's used to find your save on the game's servers, and it is also sent, alongside gameplay events, to the analytics service below.

Gameplay analytics (via PostHog, EU servers): events such as "match started" or "season finished", tied to a random install identifier and to the anonymous player ID above.

Crash reports (via Sentry, EU servers): if the game crashes, a technical report — error message, stack trace, device model and OS version — is sent so the bug can be fixed.

The club name you choose: stored with your save so your career can be restored. In the current version of the game, no other player can see it — matches are against the computer or against a recorded run of a past match, and the name isn't shown during those. A ranked, live-opponent feature exists in the code but is switched off; if it's ever turned on, club names would then be visible to the opponent you're matched against, and this policy will be updated first.

Cloud saves

Your career progress — clubs, players, coins, and the club name above — is backed up to the game's servers (Google Firebase) under your anonymous player ID, so it can be restored if you reinstall.

Purchases

If you buy anything in the game, the payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. The game never sees or stores your card details, billing address, or any other payment information. It receives only a receipt confirming the purchase was valid, which is checked against Apple's or Google's servers so the item can be granted once. Which item was bought (not any payment details) is also sent to the analytics service above, to measure which items are popular.

Opting out

Analytics and crash reporting are on by default, so bugs can be found and fixed, but you can switch both off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage data. The game works exactly the same with it off — your save and anonymous player ID are unaffected either way.

Children

The game shows no third-party ads and has no chat or messaging with other players. Club names are chosen by the player and, in the current version, aren't shown to anyone else.

Your rights

To have your save data and anonymous IDs deleted from the game's servers and from analytics and crash reporting, email the address below with the player ID shown in Settings.

Changes to this policy
